Maaree is a UK based women’s activewear brand, specialising in sports bras. Developed with science in mind, they’ve won the ‘best in test’ award 6 times running now! Growing from strength to strength throughout our partnership, they’ve been able to launch operations throughout Europe, Australia and the US, opening up their audience and growth even further.
We’ve been working together on paid advertising for two years now, and took over their email marketing in 2024.
Having already worked extensively with Maaree to maximise performance of acquisition, we knew that there was great scope to increase retention efforts and results with consistent, targeted campaigns and automations. We’ve managed to increase YOY revenue through email marketing by 120% for Maaree in 2024, alongside 52% of revenue now coming through from email marketing itself. Overall revenue is up by 83% YOY, so the growth is really compounding with our team working across both acquisition and retention channels cohesively.
We implemented a heavily segmented approach, categorising customers into new and existing, and then further segmenting by engagement, AOV, frequency of website visits etc. This allows campaigns to be very personalised to the individual we’re targeting, with relevant creative and copy to maximise the conversion rate of the email campaign. We also focused heavily on A/B testing design, and optimised throughout all campaigns and automations.
Importantly, we didn’t just focus on conversions within the email campaigns. The audience value education, case studies and stats so this is consistently distributed throughout campaigns, alongside press and PR features, reviews and influencer creative to build social proof.
A full overhaul of automation strategy allowed us to create a holistic approach to retargeting across channels, ensuring customers were receiving touchpoints in Meta, Google, Email and SMS to increase chances of conversions within warmer audiences.
