Silvio Fiorello is a luxury Italian accessories company, creating handmade silk ties in the heart of Sicily. Founded in 1984, they’ve seen huge growth throughout their wholesale operations and we’ve had the pleasure of helping them to develop their DTC side of things.
When Nancy and Greg came to us, they’d had many a poor agency experience and we’re really put off the idea of paid ads at all. We worked closely with them across the product development, CRO and overall branding to increase not only their ROAS, but their revenue, profitability and brand awareness too.
Within one year of working with Silvio Fiorello, we’d managed to increase their blended Meta and Google ROAS to an average of 5.94x, a huge jump from the 1.1x ROAS they came to us with in January 2023. Along with our work together on product and pricing strategy, this allowed for an increase of 51% in their net margin through DTC year on year, allowing us to scale much more aggressively. Overall revenue increased by 313% year on year, largely due to that high ROAS that allowed us to scale spend quickly and effectively. A big part of this has been creating high value acquisition audiences that convert consistently, and return regularly.
As we implemented retention strategies we saw email marketing revenue double, with returning customer rate up 30% year on year by the end of 2023. The email list size also increased by over 160% throughout this period throughout our Meta lead generation campaigns. It’s been great to see a company so hesitant to spend on paid ads flourish and get their confidence back with the right partnership. The team love working with Nancy and Greg, and we can’t wait to see what 2024 holds for them. At the time of writing, their NC-CAC is already down 46% year on year in Meta, so we’re sure that even bigger things are coming for them.
